Helper Arts Festival/Nine Mile Canyon, Saturday August 20 / Sunday 21

Here is another fun overnighter adventure: Trip to Helper for the annual Arts Festival and Nine Mile Canyon drive.

August 20th: 8:30 AM, meet at Kamas Food Town. We’ll take Hwy 35 over Wolf Creek pass to the city park in Duchesne. After a quick break we head out of Duchesne on Hwy 191 to Helper. Lunch will be in Helper from one of the festival vendors if you choose. After we wander around for a couple of hours; we’ll head to Nine Mile Canyon for a late afternoon drive stopping afterwards in Price for the night.

Aug 21st: Time TBD, we’ll head north out of Price on Hwy 6 eventually turning left to go past Scofield Reservoir, Fairview, Maroni, Fountain Green and finally Nephi. Those that are short of time can stay on Hwy 6 to I-15.
