March Lunch Meeting & Drive

Ask for Utah Miata Club group (we will be in a separate area away from other patrons).

Use the 500 South Bountiful exit and head east to Main street, then right hand turn on Main. You will see the restaurant one block south on the right.  Refer to attached map.

 

Our lunch and drive planners have been carefully watching the weather forecast, and even though we have been enjoying great sunny warm weather the last few days, the forecast for Saturday is 50% chance of rain all day and a high of 48 degrees.  Because the pavilion at the park is not reservable yet, it was decided that moving to a restaurant would be best.  We will be located in a separate area, and the restaurant is bringing in two servers just for our group and an extra cook.

 

As convertible drivers, we understand how quickly the weather can change and are therefore quite a flexible group.  (I can't count how many times we have pulled over to put tops up due to rain on a drive). We appreciate your understanding of this change.  Whether we do the drive or not will be decided on at lunch.

Drive Information: Weather permitting we will line up in the parking lot and take a left turn onto Pages Lane (1600 N) heading east to Main Street (2nd light).  Turn left onto Main Street heading north.  We continue on Main Street to Glovers Lane (925 South, Farmington). We will turn left heading west to the George S. and Dolores Eccles Wildlife Education Center.  The Center has been recently remodeled and there is also a scenic 1.6-mile nature trail loop. Meander the wheelchair- and stroller-friendly trail to experience the unique sights and sounds of the Farmington Bay wetlands.  There are rest rooms at the Center.
