UMC Fall Leaf Drive; Part Deux (after the September Alpine Loop)

October Activity: Drive to North-Eastern Utah to Huntsville, Monte Cristo, Woodruff and Evanston, Wyoming for Lunch & Club Meeting    

When: Saturday, 10 October 2026    

Time: 10:00 AM

Where:  Weber Canyon I-84 eastbound rest area.  We’d like to get on the road at 10:15. Exit 92 to Mountain Green, Trappers Loop, and Beehive 39 to the Huntsville roundabout. Right at the roundabout traversing the Monte Cristo (sub-) range to Woodruff. We will pause at the Monte Cristo overlook followed by the campground for restrooms. At Woodruff turn right (south) on Beehive 16 which turns into WY89 into Evanston. We should arrive at the El Paso All American & Mexican Restaurant about 12:30 for lunch and our business meeting. Evanston is the official end of the club activity. After the club meeting there are multiple options for routes to go home.
