August UMC Monthly Meeting & Drive:

Name:  Shun-Pike Drive

Note to club members that the August Luncheon and Drive date has been changed to Saturday, August 13, 2016 instead of August 6th.  This will be our annual Shun-Pike Drive as we will head South, on west side of Utah Lake on Hwy. 68. This drive will be directed and led by Gordy Nicholl.   Also the Restaurant has changed from what was previously mentioned as we could not get reservations at Lisa's for our group. We will do our drive first and then have lunch at our destination of Mickelson's Family Restaurant located on 2100 South Main Street in Nephi, Utah for our monthly lunch and meeting. 

 

We will meet in the parking lot of Walgreen's on 12600 South Redwood Road at 9:00 AM.  After a short driver's meeting we will head out along Redwood road south to Saratoga Springs.  We will probably make a short stop at the Chevron Gas Station where we normally stop, but will discuss this at the driver's meeting if we intend to do this.  Be sure to gas up before leaving home for Walgreen's.   Our Shun-Pike drive will take us down into Goshen and then south on Main street through the Goshen Canyon to Nephi.  We will go directly to Mickelson's for lunch.  After our meeting and lunch we will head over to the Mt. Nebo Loop Road and travel north to Payson and come out of Payson Canyon where the drive will end.  We will then head north via I-15 freeway towards home or those that would like to travel another way home are welcome to do that.  Hope to see you all there.
