Fall for New England: Sept. 2019

The days are getting shorter, the sun lower in the sky, the leaves turning color with the cooler weather – which means one thing!  The MassMiata FALL FOR NEW ENGLAND II event is at the one-year count down! ​It’s been over two years since the first discussion of bringing FFNE back for another run and we’ve been busy planning to make it even bigger and better.  In only two and half weeks registration was full! A great response!

The goodie bag items have been ordered, the website is up and running and pre-running trip routes assures no one gets lost!  We have a variety of trips planned from downtown Boston to the New Hampshire sea coast, a race track in central Massachusetts, and the Bridge of Flowers in the western section of the Commonwealth.

Make note in your calendars you will receive the final trip schedule selection on March 4, 2019, and the meal choices will follow in June.  Be sure to get your selections in promptly, especially before the best trips are filled.

The MASS Miata Club, located in the Boston, MA. area is hosting the "Fall for New England II" event September 19-22, 2019.  I know this is a year and a half away but it is guaranteed to be an excellent, not-to-miss event.  Just ask Donn and Janet Cichocki from our club.  The Fall leaves and the countryside is spectacular.  It would be the longest trip taken in the history of the Utah Miata Club in our Miatas (Viking River Cruise to Europe excluded as we didn't drive our Miatas there).  It will be a very fun road trip.  Those of us who have been back east to experience the backroads and twisties know what I am talking about.  

 

The Host Hotel is the Westford Regency in Westford, MA.  They are now accepting reservations for this event.  The cost is $135.00 per night, a good price for the Boston area.  Be sure to book your room for 4 days, from Sept. 18-21, 2019 (checking out the 22nd).  Phone 988-692-8200.  Your credit card will only hold your room.  They will not run your card.  If you need to cancel for any reason you can do so up until the day before.  To view the Westford Regency's website go to http:www.westfordregency.com  Just an FYI;  the MASS Miata Club is limiting the registrations for the event to 125 Miatas.  40 have already booked rooms in the first 2 days, so this event and the hotel will sell out quickly.  Book your Room Now!  As of this writing about 11 Utah couples have already booked a room and registered for the event.  Fall For New England II REGISTRATION NOW OPEN.....The Registration is up on the Mass Club web site.  To Register for the event go to: https://ffne2.massmiata.net/

 

You won't want to miss this event. Plan on about a 2 week or so trip to drive out there and back.  We will be planning several route options to discuss at a later date. Donn is keeping us in the loop on this by club Facebook posts and emails to us. Thanks Donn for doing this.
